May only be purchased with an adult Season Pass. Valid only when guest adult or child is accompanied by the adult Season Pass Holder. Valid once/day.
NANNY PASS – $54.99 +GST
May only be purchased with a child Season Pass. Valid only when Nanny is accompanied by child listed on the Season Pass.
Season Pass Info
Wondering if you should get a Season Pass? We want our frequent users to have the very best pricing!
Season Passes are valid April 20 through September 30, 2026 for our Drop-In Visits. Season Passes are paid for with just over 2 visits! Not only can you visit multiple times through the Season and see our parade of babies throughout the entire spring, but you can come back as many times as you like! Our new bar code system provides a quicker admission process for Season Pass holders too!
A Season Pass gives you general admission to the farm. They do not include add-on activities like Pony Rides, Tractor Rides, Chop ‘n Cones.
Your Season Pass will be emailed to you. Passes (other than the Nanny Pass) are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.
*Formal application to change the name of the Nanny ($5.00 +GST fee) may be made to our office during normal business hours.

If you have not been to Butterfield Acres before:
We recommend you come for a visit and see how you like it. If you really enjoy it and decide you’d like to buy a Season Pass, do it before you go home that day (remember to keep your receipt), and your admission from that day is applied towards your Season Pass! Your pass will be almost half paid for already!

Public Pony Rides
TENTATIVE TIMES: 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm
$3 each
- Buy with your Admission, April thru September
- ALL Riders must be under 60lbs/27kg.
- Ride once around our Pony Ring
- Private Pony Rides – a pony for your group for 30 minutes. $99.99 (please call to book)
Tractor-Pulled Wagon Rides!
TENTATIVE TIMES: 11:45am, 1:45pm and 3:30pm
$3 per family
- Buy with your Admission, April thru September
- Private Wagon rides for birthday parties are booked at the time of the party for $39.99.
- Festival Wagon rides are purchased with your Festival ticket order.
Spring Babies Festival

- Help us welcome our wonderful new baby farm animals! Join us during the first few weeks of the season to snuggle with baby goats, woolly lambs, and peep at our freshly hatched chicks and the adorable piglets.

This year we have an added option for the littles in your life: PUMPKIN HUNTS! Morning tickets will have the option for your littles (Pint-Sized Pumpkin Pickers!) to hunt for their very own cute kid-sized pumpkin!

Our food concession is where you can buy a hot coffee or a cold popsicle, popcorn, juice, and all the usual snacks.Â

July 13, 2026WAY too expensive!!! $17 for a 2 year old!!! 🤣 Calgary Farmyard offers a lot more for a lot less when you have a young child. I'm not paying $17 for my 2 year old who won't get much out of the experience. But I will go to the Calgary farmyard where it's free for my child and fun can still be had.

Their summer camps are absolutely amazing. Well priced, so much fun and the animals are so amazing. The camp staff were so lovely and fun!! Can't wait to book again next year.

April 20, 2026Took the family out for their "baby animal festival" and we had a blast. My 2yr old loved all the baby goats jumping around. We ended the day by having smores by the fire. Would recommend bringing your little ones to learn about farm life and farm animals.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
Fees for our programs and services are refunded ONLY if Butterfield Acres must cancel due to low registration or low sales volume. Otherwise, fees are not refundable. Our programs run regardless of weather.
