Many folks book BOTH the Birthday Pony and the MINI Farm when they have children under 27kg (60 pounds). If you would like us to set up BOTH of these for you using just this one form (so you do not have to also fill in an additional form for the MINI, and you qualify for a discount on this addition when you book it here on the same form), please indicate below:

HAND WASHING is especially important:

The Health Department requires that there be hand washing right at the exit of the animal area.

This requires a hand soap pump (wipes are NOT acceptable), single use paper towels, garbage container, AND someone to ensure a CONSTANT supply of fresh WARM water, and removal of the grey water.

WHAT'S NEXT?

FARMER JENN SAYS...

...within 48 hours of receipt of your Birthday Pony Booking Request, we will email you a Booking Agreement.

Please read it through for accuracy and other important information, then sign it and email, fax, or mail it back to us.

We will need a site map showing where the Pony will be walking. Kindest to the Pony is a flat grassy area away from swings and slides etc. Please indicate the best place to park our truck and horse trailer and best access to the walking area.

We will also need a road map to your site if you are in a newer development, or outside Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane city limits.


Children must be under 27 kgs / 60 pounds to ride the Pony.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONDITIONS:

Pony Rides available for children under 60 lbs./27 kgs. only. This weight restriction is strictly enforced for the safety of both the child rider and our Pony friends.

PONY RIDE SAFETY:
Ponies are NOT COMPATIBLE with activities with loud or sudden noises/movements such as dunk tanks, balloons dogs, or balls, or with jumping houses with long bobbing necks. If/when safety concerns exist, Pony rides will pause until the situation is rectified.
It is recommended that children wear HELMETS while riding the Pony. Butterfield Acres staff may ask parents/adults to walk alongside rider to enhance rider safety.
NO BALLOONS are allowed on site until the Pony rides are finished.
Site to provide hand washing facilities as needed for Pony Riders.
Pony is led by Butterfield Acres staff, and comes complete with saddle, and equipment for manure pickup should that be necessary.

I/We agree that any photos taken by Butterfield Acres Inc. employees and/or agents may be used for promotional purposes providing no names are used.

We do hereby acknowledge and agree that use of Butterfield Acres Programs/Animals is at my / our sole risk and liability; moreover, I / we hereby release and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Butterfield Acres Inc., its agents, subcontractors and servants or employees for any and all actions, the causes of action, claims, liabilities and demand whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to or connected with our use without limitation.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Fees are not refundable. In the case of inclement weather at the time of the booking, you may reschedule without any loss of fees. If the event cannot be rescheduled or postponed, you will have a choice:
EITHER exchange the value of Booking Agreement for an equivalent value of Farm Guest Passes,
OR forfeit the 20% non-refundable portion of your fee and have the balance returned.
